	Thursdays Salsa Nights: Thanks to all those that supported The Twisted Hop Salsa Night on Thursday 25th, it was a great Night, expect more to come. ..Thursday Lineup to come... - Thurs 1st April @ Salsa Latina (Final Night at the Studio) - Then Salsa Nights at Zymergy starting Thurs 8th April. Then they stay at Zymergy every Thursday except for once a Month on Thursday at The Twisted Hop with a Free class included.

	Salsa Night Fever - Winner - Congratulations to "Reuben Rusk" who won a $300 pass to the NZ Salsa Congress in the Salsa Night Fever dance off "best musicality comp".

	NZ Salsa Congress is THIS weekend (Easter weekend). It's still not to late to join us. Come and join the rest of NZ Salsa dancers in Wellington for the largest Salsa event in NZ. With over 50 workshops, Parties, performances & shows.. more below

	Easter Monday Classes? Yes, even though most of our teachers will be at the NZ Salsa Congress, we will be back for Easter Monday to teach. We don't stop dancing.

	Cha Cha Class Canceled Wednesday nights cha class has been canceled due to lack of numbers, we will have another starting in the near future.

	Zouk, 2 courses for Beginners level 7:30pm with FREE 1st class & Improver/Intermediate 8:30pm, starting Wed 14th April.. more below.

	Calling Male Helpers for Beginners 6:15pm on Monday & Tuesdays, if you have completed our beginners and are comfortable with the moves you can be a "helper" this is great for extra practice and its FREE. We are still short on 9 Guys on Monday, but you must contact us for further info, simply reply to this email.

Salsa Class (Linear salsa On1) Salsa Fundamentals. This is the most important level you will ever learn, its the foundation to linear salsa. It's worth repeating this level no matter what level you are, Improver, Intermediate or Advanced you can still improve your foundation. It's highly recommended you have completed 8 weeks of beginners class before joining this level. Remember if you find our intermediate a struggle, do this level as well as intermediate to help. You will pick up more details second or third time round, no matter what level you are.

Salsa Class (Linear salsa On1) You will learn - More Fundamentals and beyond. Also learn variations, combos, turn patterns, dips, techniques & styling. Duration: Join any time after the Improvers course and then complete a total of 1 year in Intermediate. Each of the Sections (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L) all 4 week courses. You can join on week#1 on any of these sections as you finish Improver levels. Once you have completed all of the sections in' any' order you may be able to progress to the Upper Intermediate level on Monday at 8:30pm

Learn Zouk Lambada/Traditional: 4 week courses 2 Levels, Beginners & Improver/Intermediate Zouk Basics & Fundamentals Zouk footwork / Shines

Zouk Course Beginner & Open level course Information (FREE 1st Class) If you haven't tried Zouk before, or if you have done our previous Zouk courses you will learn something new. This is an open level course, it's for everyone including absolute beginners. Learn Zouk basics, style and technique. We will also be including Neo Zouk influences.
Zouk Course Improvers & Intermediate This level is for those that have done Zouk before and are familiar with Lateral/Diamond etc.. Learn some new combos and new fundamentals
What is Zouk? It's another fun Latin Dance that originates from Brazil with french influence, it's a relative of Lambada and is sometimes called Zouk Lambada.

Monthy Salsa Night with performances during the night. Social Salsa dancing all night. DJ SLS (Reuben - Salsa Latina) will be pumping out the very best & latest of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue Zouk, Cha music all night long for your dancing pleasure in Studio 1. Studio 3 will also have Zouk playing after the performances.

Come earlier (7:30pm) and experience an Argentinean Tango earlier in the night. Great for practising what you have learn, meet new people and have fun. (Note after 9pm you need to pay the entry fee)

Time to book this one in your calendar - The famous Hot Springs Salsa yearly winter fest, with latin dance workshops in the afternoon & Salsa Party at Night. "Road Trip to Hanmer Springs - Its hot both inside the pool and hotter the Salsa hall"

Salseros from all around the New Zealand Christchurch, Dunedin, Westcoast, Blenheim, Nelson, Wellington, Wanganui & Auckland will combine this year and spend an awesome snowy winter weekend in Hanmer to move to the rythms of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Cha cha cha at the Hanmer Memorial Hall. So bring the kids and enjoy the treasures that Hanmer has to offer. Even though its often snowing it will be hot in the salsa hall and the hot pools... not to be missed! This is a beautiful alpine village ...enjoy the hotpools.. It's also the first weekend of the school holidays, kids are welcome at the party, infact school kids are free entry.
