Salsa Class (Linear salsa On1) Salsa Fundamentals. This is the most important level you will ever learn, its the foundation to linear salsa. It's worth repeating this level no matter what level you are, Improver, Intermediate or Advanced you can still improve your foundation. It's highly recommended you have completed 8 weeks of beginners class before joining this level. Remember if you find our intermediate a struggle, do this level as well as intermediate to help. You will pick up more details second or third time round, no matter what level you are.

Duration: Join any time after the Improvers course and then complete a total of 1 year in Intermediate. Each of the Sections (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L) all 4 week courses. You can join on week#1 on any of these sections as you finish Improver levels. Once you have completed all of the sections in' any' order you may be able to progress to the Upper Intermediate level on Monday at 8:30pm

Cha Cha On2 - 4 week Open Level Course Info: Cha Cha sometimes referred to as the triple Mambo, this is an off-shoot of Mambo On2. Learn how to dance on the (2) and learn how the beats work in the course. You will also learn some cool, groovy fun combos & footwork/shines. Open to any level. * Brand New Combos and will progressively get more challenging as the course progresses.

Salsa Night on Thursdays @ Salsa Latina

Every Thursday, 9:30pm-late @ Salsa Latina

Social Night 9:30pm - Totally Fun filled & Hot. Drink and dance the night away. Every Thursday night. Come down and have a look, a drink and have a dance! It's the most popular Salsa Night of the week. Anyone can come, this night is for everybody at all levels, dancers and non-dancers. Music playing in both Studio 1 & Studio 3.

Practice Salsa in Studio-3 from 7:30pm - Free Entry, come in at any time from 7:30pm to practice your dance moves you've learnt in Studio3, great for all levels, beginners & beyond, bring or meet someone for practice, or just grab anyone to dance with until the Salsa night starts at 9:30pm. Note:from 9:30pm Zouk will be playing in Studio3 & Salsa in Studio1

Salseros from all around the New Zealand Christchurch, Dunedin, Westcoast, Blenheim, Nelson, Wellington, Wanganui & Auckland will combine this year and spend an awesome snowy winter weekend in Hanmer to move to the rythms of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Cha cha cha at the Hanmer Memorial Hall. So bring the kids and enjoy the treasures that Hanmer has to offer. Even though its often snowing it will be hot in the salsa hall and the hot pools... not to be missed! New Timing Salsa CD or Mp3 Set (2009) contains essential timing, rhythms & music for salsa dancers. it's for beginners to advanced levels. It contains counts so you can get used to stepping in time with salsa and give you not only music to practice to, but knowledge of how salsa music is constructed, so you can become a better dancer. Salsa Latina uses tracks in its classes, it will train your brain to stay in time.
