Dance Floor Etiquette

Don't try things in a crowded club that you have not mastered through practice first in an uncrowded place. Women should refuse to execute moves that they know the partner hasn't the skills to lead when it puts her (and others) at risk. Same for the guys, some of the women are crazy - don't let them be.

 Don't walk through the middle of the dance floor, this is for dancing! Instead walk around the outside of the dance floor........

Salsa Beginners 101 8 Week Course. Learn modern Salsa, the most popular Latin dance in the world! No Partner needed to join, Everyone welcome. Learn from NZ Salsa Champions.

Salsa Improvers 203 & 201

• Tuesday 7:30pm 9th July - 202 Course
• Thursday 7:30pm 11th July - 204 Course
After Beginners Salsa, join in any 201, 202, 203 or 204 (4 week courses) in any order. Complete 16 weeks total to progress to the Salsa Intermediate level.

Salsa Intermediate Course

• Tuesday 9th July 8:30pm - 320 Course
After Improvers Salsa, join in any of the 80 (4 week courses). Take in any order! Learn 6 years of New Shines syllabus & Partner-work & Advanced sections. Plus 30mins Free practice time after class.

Bachata Intermediate Course

After Beginners, join the Intermediate level. There's always something new to learn, 'no repeats'. Learn the latest styles of Sensual & Dominican Bachata. Plus 30mins Free practice time after class.

Kizomba Beginners 101 Course

• Monday 19th August 7:30pm (1hr)
Kizomba is a sexy, sensual & very popular partner dance in Europe, similar to Tango in some ways. Free 1st class. Ideal for the absolute beginner. No Partner needed to join, Everyone welcome. 

Private Lessons

For Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba this is an awesome way to progress faster, jump levels or if you miss a class to catch up. In a private lesson we go through all little details that we can not attend to in group classes & fix bad habits you may pick up along the way. 

Salsa Latina Concession Cards

These cards can be used for any level, of Salsa, Bachata or Kizomba classes. They also make great gifts. You can conveniently order these online via Pay pal on our website, once you have purchased this can pick up your card when you come to class.
