Navigating Your First Social Salsa Night

So, you’re ready to start social dancing! Maybe you’ve taken a few classes, or perhaps you have a friend who is dragging you out one night this week. Whatever the reason, I hope you have an awesome time. Before you go social dancing, let me help you understand what you should think about before you hit the dance floor.

Bachata Beginners 101 Course

Learn this very popular style of Latin dance from the Dominican Republic, easy & fun style to learn. 8 Week Course, Ideal for the absolute beginner. No Partner needed to join, Everyone welcome. 

Bachata Intermediate Course

• Wednesday 29th May 8:30pm
After Beginners, join the Intermediate level. There's always something new to learn, 'no repeats'. Learn the latest styles of Sensual & Dominican Bachata. Plus 30mins Free practice time after class.

Thursday Salsa Nights

• Every Thursday 8:30pm - 12am

Salsa Beginners 101 8 Week Course. Learn modern Salsa, the most popular Latin dance in the world! No Partner needed to join, Everyone welcome. Learn from NZ Salsa Champions, Robyn & Reuben.

Salsa Improvers 203 & 201

• Monday 6:15pm 10th June - 203 Course
• Tuesday 7:30pm 11th June - 201 Course
After Beginners Salsa, join in any 201, 202, 203 or 204 (4 week courses) in any order. Complete 16 weeks total to progress to the Salsa Intermediate level.

Salsa Intermediate Course

After Improvers Salsa, join in any of the 80 (4 week courses). Take in any order! Learn 6 years of New Shines syllabus & Partner-work & Advanced sections. Plus 30mins Free practice time after class.

Kizouk Party

For Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba this is an awesome way to progress faster, jump levels or if you miss a class to catch up. In a private lesson we go through all little details that we can not attend to in group classes & fix bad habits you may pick up along the way.
